Austria and Nigerian Wedding in Marrakech: Joanna & Ola’s Two-Day Celebration of Love
May 17th, 2025
It’s honestly hard to believe that Siham is planning multiple weddings throughout the year, because from the very start, she made us feel like we were her only clients. She was always available, always responsive, whether it was a quick WhatsApp message or a last-minute call and brought a calm, can-do attitude to everything.
Any potential issue was turned into a seamless solution, and even last-minute arrangements were handled with such grace that we never felt stressed. What could’ve been overwhelming ended up feeling joyful and exciting, all thanks to Siham’s energy and professionalism.
We had already admired her work online, but experiencing it in real life completely surpassed our expectations. Her organisational skills, creativity, and attention to detail made our wedding weekend absolutely magical.
From the welcome evening in the desert to the wedding day itself, everything ran so smoothly. We didn’t have to think or worry about a single thing. We were able to be fully present, enjoying every second with our guests, many of whom are still posting photos and talking about how unforgettable it all was.
A huge thank you as well to Maria, whose expertise and presence were just as unmissable. We are forever grateful to the entire team for planning the best weekend of our lives. Truly, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
A Love Story That Crosses Borders 💛
Joanna, with her Austrian-Nigerian roots, and Ola, a Nigerian groom living in the UK with a deep love for music and art, brought together guests from Austria, the UK, and Nigeria for a celebration that felt like a global family reunion. From the moment we met them, we knew this wedding would be something truly special.
The bride envisioned an elegant celebration with soft spring tones, and we brought that dream to life with a delicate yellow and white wedding theme that radiated warmth, joy, and class.
Day One: Desert Party in Agafay 🌅🎉
The festivities began with a magical welcome party in the Agafay Desert, where guests arrived to a relaxed poolside setting, upbeat DJ tunes, and buffet-style dinner under the stars. The energy was high from the very start,as soon as the music kicked in, the Nigerian vibes took over, and the dancing didn’t stop.
The desert air, fire-lit ambiance, and joyful connection among guests set the perfect tone for the weekend.
Day Two: Wedding Ceremony at Palais Paysan 💍🌿
The wedding took place at the stunning Palais Paysan, where Joanna and Ola exchanged vows in a heartfelt religious ceremony officiated by a pastor flown in from Nigeria. The natural surroundings, soft spring florals, and personalized touches created an atmosphere that was both sacred and stylish.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with signature drinks and breathtaking views, alongside a chic custom name wall that made for the perfect photo moment.
Dinner & Dancing Under the Stars 🌌🍾
Dinner was held around the pool, where we created a luxe yet laid-back setup with a custom dance floor, modern DJ booth, and elegant lighting that transformed the space as night fell. Ola’s music background came alive during the reception, with a playlist that blended R&B, hip-hop, and Afrobeat, keeping the dance floor packed all night long.
Joanna stunned guests with a second look, marked by a glamorous champagne tower moment that added a touch of magic and sparkle to the evening.
A Destination Wedding to Remember ✨
Joanna and Ola’s 130 guests celebrated every moment with pure joy. This Austria-Nigerian destination wedding in Marrakech was full of love, culture, and incredible energy. From thoughtful design to non-stop dancing, this weekend was a beautiful reminder of what weddings are really about — connection, culture, and unforgettable memories.
