Mittra & Parth’s Luxury Indian Wedding at The Oberoi Marrakech: Where Indian Traditions Meet Moroccan Grandeur
June 12th, 2026
Maria & Siham at Party Maroc & La perle events truly made the wedding of our dreams come true. The decor was everything we imagined and more, our guests couldn’t stop raving about every detail. The vibes throughout the weekend were impeccable, people genuinely didn’t want it to end. One of the best compliments we received was that it was the “wedding of the century.”From the very beginning, Maria & Siham had our backs. When we ran into challenges with our venue, they advocated for us every step of the way.
They seamlessly coordinated with local Moroccan vendors for our Sangeet in the souk and guided us in selecting key vendors, including our sound & light, photographer, videographer, DJ, and mehndi artist. Throughout the planning process, they were organized, honest, responsive, and communicative. We always felt informed and supported, never left wondering what was happening.Planning a large Indian wedding comes with countless moving parts—not to mention balancing the expectations of both families. While Maria & Siham had experience with smaller Indian weddings, they took the time to truly understand all the nuances and requirements that come with a multi-day celebration. They handled everything with professionalism, patience, and grace.
Both sets of parents were absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. They worked tirelessly to ensure each of our four events: the Haldi, Sangeet, Baraat & Ceremony, and Reception, ran smoothly and felt special. We are incredibly grateful for everything Maria & Siham did to make our wedding unforgettable.
If you’re looking for someone who is talented, dedicated, and genuinely invested in making your vision a reality, we wholeheartedly recommend Maria & Siham and PartyMaroc & La Perle events
There are destination weddings that are beautiful, and then there are celebrations that feel truly personal — where every detail tells a story, every event has its own atmosphere, and the destination becomes part of the experience.
For Mittra and Parth, their dream was to create a luxury Indian destination wedding in Marrakech that would honor their Indian roots and traditions while bringing their families and friends together in an extraordinary setting.
The result was a multi-day celebration at The Oberoi Marrakech, combining Indian culture, refined Moroccan architecture, sophisticated design and the warmth of a destination wedding shared with loved ones.
From Texas and New York to Marrakech
Mittra, from Texas, and Parth, from New York, first met with us at The Oberoi Marrakech to discuss their wedding plans.
From our very first meeting, Maria and I immediately felt a wonderful connection with this remarkable couple. They knew that they wanted their wedding to be meaningful, elegant and deeply connected to their heritage, while also creating an unforgettable destination experience for their guests.
Planning an Indian wedding abroad requires much more than simply organizing beautiful events. A multi-day Indian wedding involves numerous ceremonies, traditions, guest movements, catering requirements, entertainment, production and detailed logistics, all while making sure that every celebration feels cohesive and seamless.
Together, we mapped out the entire wedding experience, from the event flow and logistics to the design, catering and guest experience.
Why The Oberoi Marrakech Was the Perfect Setting
For this Indian destination wedding in Morocco, The Oberoi Marrakech offered the perfect combination of luxury, architecture, gardens and space.
The property allowed us to create a different atmosphere for each celebration while maintaining an overall visual story throughout the wedding.
From intimate daytime celebrations to vibrant evening events, each space at The Oberoi became a new chapter in Mittra and Parth's wedding weekend.
This was particularly important because an Indian wedding is not simply one event. It is a collection of celebrations, each with its own meaning, traditions, colors and energy.
For Mittra and Parth, the wedding journey included:
- Mehendi
- Sangeet
- Haldi
- Thali lunch
- Hindu wedding ceremony
- Cocktail, Dinner Reception and afterparty till late
- Special lunches and dinners for their guests
Our role was to make sure that every event felt unique while remaining connected to the couple's overall vision.
Planning an Indian Wedding in Morocco
Planning a large-scale Indian wedding in Marrakech comes with its own particular challenges.
Bringing together Indian traditions with a Moroccan destination requires careful coordination between international suppliers, local teams, the venue, caterers, entertainment and production.
Food is one of the most important elements of any Indian wedding, and for Mittra and Parth, it was essential that the culinary experience reflected their preferences and traditions.
We worked closely with the team at The Oberoi Marrakech, including the resident Indian chef, to create a personalized Indian culinary experience for their guests.
Rather than relying on a standard menu, every element was discussed and refined with the couple.
A dedicated tasting was organized with the Oberoi team to review the different dishes and ensure that the final menus reflected the couple's expectations.
A Personalized Indian Culinary Experience
The wedding weekend included several different culinary experiences, each carefully designed around the event.
Haldi Lunch
A fresh and colorful lunch designed to complement the relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the Haldi celebration.
Sangeet Dinner
A more elevated evening menu created for a night of music, performances and celebration.
Thali Lunch
A personalized Indian Thali experience bringing together a selection of traditional flavors in a refined presentation.
Wedding Dinner
The final dinner menu was carefully curated with the couple and the Oberoi culinary team, with each dish selected and tasted before the wedding.
This close collaboration between the couple, the venue and our planning team was essential to creating an Indian culinary experience while celebrating the exceptional hospitality of Marrakech.
A Wedding Design Inspired by India and Morocco
For the design, Mittra and Parth wanted something elegant, timeless and sophisticated, with a strong attention to detail.
They did not want the design to feel overly traditional or overly themed. Instead, the vision was to create a refined aesthetic where Indian influences could be incorporated naturally alongside the beauty of Marrakech.
We developed a different color palette for each celebration, giving every event its own personality while keeping the overall wedding design cohesive.
Soft and sophisticated tones were combined with richer colors for the evening celebrations, creating a progression throughout the wedding weekend.
Indian-inspired details were incorporated into the styling, while Moroccan influences were introduced through textures, architecture, patterns and the natural surroundings of The Oberoi.
The result was a celebration that felt distinctly Indian, Moroccan and completely personal to Mittra and Parth.
Bringing the Couple's Vision to Life
One of the most rewarding parts of planning a destination wedding is the relationship that develops between the couple and their planning team.
For us, Mittra and Parth's wedding was about more than coordinating a series of events. It was about understanding who they were as a couple and translating their ideas into an experience that felt authentic to them.
Every decision — from the event flow and menus to the color palettes, styling and guest experience, was discussed closely with them.
Our goal was to allow the couple and their families to fully enjoy the celebrations while our team managed the details behind the scenes.
An Indian Destination Wedding in Marrakech to Remember
An Indian wedding in Morocco brings together two extraordinary cultures: the richness and celebration of Indian wedding traditions and the timeless beauty of Marrakech.
For Mittra and Parth, The Oberoi Marrakech provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding weekend filled with tradition, elegance, incredible food, meaningful moments and unforgettable celebrations.
From the first meeting at The Oberoi to the final reception, every element of the wedding was carefully planned around their vision.
It was a celebration of their Indian heritage, their families, their journey together, and their decision to bring everyone they love to Marrakech for an unforgettable destination wedding.
