Pam & Mateo’s Timeless Wedding Portrait

Pam & Mateo’s timeless Marrakech wedding at Ksar Char Bagh, blending Moroccan craftsmanship, Lebanese heritage and effortless elegance

June 6th, 2026

Some weddings feel special from the very first conversation. When Siham first met Pam and Mateo for their Zoom consultation, there was an immediate connection. Their vision, their appreciation for beautiful details and their desire to create an experience for their guests felt perfectly aligned with what we love to create at La Perle Events.

A year of planning, creativity and dedication later, their Marrakech destination wedding became one of the highlights of our Spring 2026 wedding season.

Meet Pam & Mateo: A Multicultural Love Story

Based in New York, Pam and Mateo brought together two beautiful cultural backgrounds. Pam’s Lebanese heritage and Mateo’s upbringing in Hawai‘i became an important part of the story behind their celebration.

They wanted their wedding in Morocco to feel personal and meaningful while also giving their guests an authentic experience of Marrakech.

With friends and family travelling from around the world, the goal was never simply to organise a beautiful wedding. It was to create a complete Marrakech experience — one filled with Moroccan architecture, craftsmanship, culture, exceptional food, music and unforgettable moments.

A Welcome Evening in the Heart of the Medina Marrakech

For their guests’ first introduction to Morocco, we wanted something intimate and authentic.

We discovered a hidden riad in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, where the couple hosted their welcome evening on the rooftop.

Surrounded by traditional Moroccan architecture and the atmosphere of the Medina, the evening offered guests a first taste of the destination while keeping the celebration relaxed and personal.

It was the perfect beginning to a wedding weekend that was deeply connected to Marrakech.

A Rehearsal Evening Inspired by Moroccan Heritage

The celebrations continued with a special rehearsal evening in the Medina.

The setting, architecture and atmosphere created an authentic Moroccan backdrop for the gathering, allowing guests to experience another side of Marrakech away from the traditional luxury hotel setting.

For Pam and Mateo, every event was an opportunity to tell a part of their story while introducing their guests to the beauty and character of Morocco.

Ksar Char Bagh: The Setting for a Timeless Wedding

For the wedding day itself, Pam and Mateo chose Ksar Char Bagh, one of Marrakech’s most beautiful and distinctive settings.

The luxury boutique hotel venue immediately felt right for their vision. Its iconic arches, Moroccan craftsmanship, elegant architecture and lush outdoor spaces created the perfect canvas for a sophisticated destination wedding.

The design concept was intentionally timeless, chic and effortless.

Every area was carefully considered, from the ceremony setting to the dinner reception, creating a celebration that felt cohesive without ever feeling overly decorated.

A Cinematic Wedding Ceremony

One of the most memorable elements of the wedding was the ceremony design created with the Mia Silvia team, whose exceptional textile artistry brought a completely new dimension to the space.

The ceremony featured elegant draping that framed the architecture of Ksar Char Bagh while enhancing rather than competing with the natural beauty of the venue.

Set against the building’s beautiful Moroccan arches, the draped backdrop created an almost cinematic atmosphere.

The result was romantic, sophisticated and incredibly elegant — exactly what Pam had envisioned.

The ceremony itself was deeply emotional, surrounded by the architecture and beauty of Ksar Char Bagh. It was one of those moments where the setting, design and emotion came together effortlessly.

Elegant Dinner Design at Ksar Char Bagh

The same sense of refinement continued into the dinner reception.

Draping surrounded the dinner area, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere as the evening began.

Rather than following a heavily themed Moroccan aesthetic, the design celebrated the architecture of the venue through subtle details, elegant textiles and carefully selected décor.

The result was a wedding design that felt modern while remaining connected to the heritage and craftsmanship of Marrakech.

Honoring Lebanese Heritage with a Dabke Zaffa entrance

While Moroccan culture played an important role throughout the wedding weekend, it was equally important to honor Pam’s Lebanese heritage.

The reception began with an energetic Dabke Zaffa entrance, bringing Lebanese tradition into the heart of the Marrakech celebration.

The Dabke band immediately transformed the atmosphere, filling the reception with energy and creating a memorable transition from the elegant dinner into the celebration.

It was a beautiful reflection of Pam and Mateo’s multicultural story — bringing different cultures together in one unforgettable destination.

From an Elegant Celebration to a Night of Dancing

As the evening continued, the atmosphere became increasingly energetic.

After an elegant dinner and the traditional Dabke entrance, guests moved into the celebration, with music, dancing and signature drinks creating the perfect ending to the evening.

The night concluded with the cake cutting and special margarita cocktails — a final touch that reflected Pam and Mateo’s personality and their desire to make every moment feel personal.

A Wedding That Felt Effortless

What made Pam and Mateo’s wedding so special was the balance between sophistication and authenticity.

Nothing felt forced.

The Moroccan architecture was allowed to speak for itself. The Lebanese heritage was celebrated naturally. The design remained elegant and timeless, while the atmosphere stayed warm, joyful and personal.

After a year of planning and countless details behind the scenes, seeing everything come together was incredibly rewarding for our team.

Pam and Mateo were truly a special couple to work with, and we are so grateful for the trust they placed in us throughout their wedding journey.

A Timeless Marrakech Wedding to Remember

Pam and Mateo’s celebration will remain one of our highlights of the Spring 2026 wedding season in Marrakech.

From an intimate rooftop welcome in the Medina to a cinematic ceremony at Ksar Char Bagh, every event was designed to give their guests an unforgettable experience of Morocco while celebrating who they are as a couple.

Their wedding was a beautiful meeting of cultures, architecture, craftsmanship and modern elegance — proof that a destination wedding in Marrakech can feel both deeply authentic and effortlessly sophisticated.
